Together Works event: Basic accounting and business skills for social enterprise with Patrick Brown, Slade and Cooper Accountants Thursday 25th March: 2.00 – 4.30 pm
This course is being offered free of charge to social enterprises in Greater Manchester by Together Works. Funding is being provided by the Northwest Regional Development Agency, the Office of the Third Sector and the European Regional Development Fund. The course is aimed at anyone involved in managing a social enterprise or who is thinking of setting one up. It will provide an overview of the main financial issues and will help to indicate where further work is required.

Patrick Browne has worked for Slade & Cooper since 2003. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992 and as a chartered tax adviser in 1994.
He has worked for small and large firms, has lived in housing co-ops and helped to set up a workers' co-op.
