Epiphany Capital is our FSA-authorised corporate finance company, which specialises in deal-making for start up companies. We provide three main services, which are described below;

Investor Readiness

Epiphany Capital works with investors and entrepreneurs to make investments possible.  We help to develop ideas into products and products into businesses; we pride ourselves on building value for entrepreneurs while reducing risks for investors.

Each business is different and so is our approach to investor readiness but typically, we undertake an intensive assessment of the business, including its operational strategy, business model, internal processes, revenue stream, competition, exit, management team, financials and marketing plan (to name just a few!).  We then identify, from an investor's point of view, the factors which might prevent an investment, and make sure they are solved.

Corporate Finance

As well as making direct investments, Epiphany Capital is authorised by the Financial Services Authority to help companies raise funds from other investors.  We have strong links with private investors (Business Angels), institutional investors, specialist lenders, grant-makers and banks. 

We can put together a funding package which gives your business the resources it needs to succeed and keeps you in control.  Because we very carefully select which companies we work with, we can be entrepreneurial too, and take a fair share of the risks and rewards.

As well as providing advice on the fundraising process itself, we can help you put together a compelling business plan which clearly and concisely demonstrates the appeal of your business to investors and gives them the information they need to make an investment decision. 

Direct Investment

Epiphany Capital makes direct investments of up to £75,000 in early stage companies.  For funding needs above this amount, we are authorised to help you raise funds from other investors. 

 We consider investments in any sector, whether they are pure start-ups or trading businesses.  The most important features are that the business has the potential to grow and the management team has the ambition to realise that potential.
