The Manchester Incubator Building is a state-of-the-art biotechnology research and development centre combining the latest in laboratory facilities with an excellent support infrastructure. The BUILDING
University of Manchester Incubator Company (UMIC) occupies part of and manages this 86,500 ft² (9320 m²) biotech incubator building located in the centre of Manchester’s academic and clinical heartland. The Manchester Incubator Building is the UK’s first campus-based dedicated Biotechnology Incubator and houses 16 laboratory suites, equipped and functioning at ACGM Containment Level 2 with the capability of conversion to Level 3.
These laboratory suites are ideal for high level biomedical and biological research and are made available to tenants through UMIC. Lease arrangements are flexible with respect to both term and financial arrangements.
