The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce Women in Business network has been established to provide businesswomen with a platform to create relationships that assist with business growth. The network provides a series of events where businesswomen can meet andnetwork pro-actively, provide support, new contacts and exchange of information.
Our next lunch will take place on Thursday 20th November at the highly acclaimed Yang Sing Restaurant in the heart of Manchester’s Chinatown, where we will enjoy a delicious Cantonese Banquet. As our guest speaker we are delighted to welcome Janette McCormick, a Chief Superintendent in Greater Manchester Police and the first female commander of the force’s Trafford division. Earlier this year she beat off competition from the country’s highest-achieving women to be named Ultra Woman of the Year at a ceremony at London’s Fortnum & Mason store. In what promises to be an inspiring talk she will tell us about her work with the police aswell as juggling her work commitments with family life.
